This is the exact same EVP Digital voice recorder I use on all of my paranormal investigations. The thing you want to keep in mind when purchasing a digital voice recorder to capture EVP’s is you want to make sure it has a USB cord so you can easily download your audio to your computer.
The Olympus VN-8100 comes with 2 GB of internal memory and up to 843 hours of recording time. It comes with a large LCD screen so it’s easy to read and use. You’ll also find a microphone and headphone jack. I find the mic works just fine but if you want to add an external mic you do have that flexibility with the Olympus VN-8100 digital voice recorder.
(Editors Note: The Olympus VN-8100 takes two AAA batteries. The package does not mention this. As a ghost hunter you should have plenty of batteries anyway so this should not be a problem)
